It was once remarked that in order to obtain an efficient design for a store’s tenant improvements, one needed an engineer that understood the malls and shopping centers into which the stores were going. From that conclusion, RMJ & Associates extensive experience in shopping centers and commercial design has led directly to our expertise in retail tenant construction. For clients such as The Gap, Limited Brands and Williams-Sonoma, we have provided structural design for hundreds of retail stores including both mall and street locations. Our scope of work has ranged from storefront and roof-top unit support, to seismic upgrades and extensive revisions to existing shell structures.
